Sensational breakfast with lots of brilliant food. Lovely and excellant location close to everything, French style building. Based just next door to view onto the mountains, the outskirts of Chambéry, and the French Alps.

The setting was superb and dinner (set/variable menu) was one of the finest we have experienced from a gourmet point of view (although the wine list was extortionate!) and worth blowing the budget for in order to experience this standard of food in such a fantastic setting. Would recommend but only if guaranteed a room with a view in the main chateau.
The room was comfortable but not located in the main chateau and being on the ground floor had no privacy as window looked on to main door/reception with guests coming and going so curtains had to remain closed. Criminal with such a view/location. The standard of the shower also left a lot to be desired as it was a wet room with very difficult/unsafe (high step) access and once inside the main shower head did not function meaning we had to use the hand held shower attachment. breakfast was extortionate (e20 per head) for standard fair. Chocolates a nice touch but not the ants that accompanied them.

We had a relaxing stay at this trendy boutique hotel. Everything was nice. - the breakfast was sensational. - the hotel offered us a great location right by a nice restaurant, the city center of Chambery, and the closer Aix le Bain.

Really nice, relaxed setting in the countryside. The rooms were big, clean and luxurious. The restaurant for dinner was excellent. Be warned though, the restaurant is expensive. Dinner for two cost considerably more than the room!

Our room was large and wonderful with a lovely view of the surrounding countryside. The restaurant served excellent food prepared by a talented chef. The staff was accommodating in every way.
They did not have internet in the room. I had to take my laptop to the reception early in the morning 6:00 am to transact business.

The staff here are super helpful and know a lot about the hotel. They can guide you to the cool casual dining spot. 🍽️ the new rooms have a rustic charm with a teapot and an amazing wooden ceiling. They also have some cool old-school furniture that adds to the vibe.

Large rooms (Prestige). Good Restaurant.
Strange omissions e.g. no shower head holder or shower curtain (hence no actual shower). Expensive room service (more than normal)

Our bedroom was superb - very large and beautifully decorated and furnished - lovely views. Very romantic. Bed was sublime. We stayed in the main house. Reception staff very pleasant and helpful. Pool lovely - if a little cold!
We dined in the restaurant and would not do so on a return visit. The food was average and very expensive for what we received. We felt that the restaurant manager overcharged us - and only gave us a very limited choice of food available. Only two choices of starter and main course - and he implied the a la carte was not available. We were charged 55 euros a head although we only ate two courses. We should have complained - but who wants to when you are on a short break - and it was our wedding anniversary - so we did not want to spoil our evening further. We had put that it was our anniversary on the booking form and the Hotel Manager had given us a beautiful bowl of fruit in the room. So its a pity an avaricious Restaurant Manager put a damper on an otherwise excellent stay - needless to say we didin't have breakfast.

The staff here is amazing, they got us checked in super quickly, and the bar is a nice spot. the bed in our fancy room was so comfy, and there was plenty of storage for our stuff, a mini bar, and even coffee facilities ☕.

The service and the food in the restaurant were really 5 star, although the breakfast, ubfortunately, wasn't to the same great standard, The situation of the hotel is idyllic and is a wonderful place to stay and really relax for a few days. I would recommend it to everybody.
A small criticism was that our room, number 123, was quite small and there was absolutely nowhere to place clothes, such as shirts and things, as there wasn't a single drawer or flat surface anywhere. They could easily put a small set of drawers in the wardrobe which would solve this small but irritating problem.

The grounds surrounding the chateua are beautiful and the deco of the rooms is supberb they have kept many original features and the rooms were large with great views as the chateau is positioned on the top of the hill.
